Ftm 34/9 Lattice Antenna Mast
Ftm 34/9 is a lattice telescopic antenna mast, mounted on a 20 ft. container frame, transportable on and off road, the mast frame mounted on the truck chassis. To become operational the mast does not require any guying with anchors in the ground; it is a self-supporting structure, supported by its own support arms.
The mast support system consists of 4 support arms with 4 supports and 4 ground plates. Support arms, extended by hydraulic cylinders, raise and level the whole system above the ground, including the truck. The mast itself is also erected and extended by an automated hydraulic system.
The mast is powered by a double gen-set mounted on the frame or by an external opportunity power source. It is equipped with a windspeed sensor (anemometer) installed at the top of the mast; When windspeed is reaching dangerous values (>130km/h) the operator is alerted by a sound alarm and by light signal on the controller.
The mast is controlled remotely by a wired remote controller. The controller has got all necessary functionalities to enable operation of the system, and is equipped with a display showing operational messages and system errors in the Polish language.
The mast hydraulic power unit is equipped with an additional manual pump for emergency operation in case of power supply failure.
The extended mast does not require any maintenance.
