Dual-band parabolic antenna APD-09
The APD-9 antenna was developed by Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 S.A. in 2020. It is built as part of the Cassegrain system with dual-polarized circular waveguide radiator for IV band. The antenna is designed for mobile digital radio links used e.g. by RWŁC-10/T, AŁCT, MCC1 (WISŁA Program), and other communication shelters operated by both military and civil communication systems using frequencies of 4400 MHz - 5000 MHz.
The antenna is classified as a Class N.7 device, suitable for operation in moderate cold climates. The antenna can operate at temperatures ranging from - 30C to +50C, and can be stored at temperatures from -50C to +65C.
Basic parameters of APD-9 antennas:
- Capacity to work simultaneously in two polarizations, i.e. vertical (referred to as E) and horizontal (referred to as H).
- The antenna's average energy gain over its operating frequency range is no less than 29 dB.
- The beam width for horizontal (H) and vertical (E) polarization in the operating bandwidth is ≤5°.
- The antenna's WFS standing wave ratio, over its operating frequency range, is 2.0.
- The maximum input power of the antenna is 45 dBm.
- The antenna's back radiation is -35dB. ź The antenna is equipped with an N-type (female) connector.
- The input impedance of the antenna is 50.
- The antenna in the operating position is resistant to air flow (wind) of up to 30 m/s.
- The antenna's maximum weight does not exceed 10 kg
- The overall dimensions of the APD-9 antenna are 920x920x500mm (W/H/D)
