WZŁ Nr 1 S.A. acquired technical skills necessary to operate and maintain US-made components of WISLA/Poland’s Patriot Program.

Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 S.A. are taking part in implementation of the Offset Commitment B20b, undersigned in 2021 with Northrop Grumman. The Commitment has allowed our employees acquire technical skills necessary for operation and maintenance of US-made components used in WISŁA Program. To this end, selected employees of WZŁ Nr 1 S.A. have systematically, since early 2023, received training in quality management, production planning and maintenance, including inter alia, assembling, disassembling, inspecting, repairing and replacing basic subassemblies and user-level replaceable components in the US S280 cabin of the Medium-range Aircraft and Missile Defense System WISŁA.

As part of implementation of the third (final) training package, completed on 5 Nov. 2024, our US partners gave us comprehensive instructions as how to assemble and integrate their mast system. Training under Offset Commitment B20b was directed to the following three companies from PGZ Holding: WZŁ NR 1 S.A., WZE S.A. and WZU S.A.. The entire training was held on premises of WZŁ Nr 1 S.A. It was done on a command system shipped for that purpose from the US. In total, twelve participants have successfully completed the training. 

The overall effect of implementation of the Offset Commitment B20b by WZŁ Nr 1 S.A. will be our comprehensive support to the Polish Armed Forces to keep the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) in full operational readiness.
