WZŁ No. 1 S.A. engaged in Wisła/Poland’s Patriot Program Phase II

WZŁ No. 1 S.A. continues its cooperation with American industries under the Second Phase of Wisła/Poland Patriot Program.

In Massachusetts, on 6 June 2023, representatives of WZŁ No.1 S.A., along with representatives of other companies from PGZ Holding, signed their respective letters of intent regarding their future cooperation with Raytheon Technologies, an American international defense conglomerate, a partner in Wisła/Poland’s Patriot Program. As part of the cooperation, WZŁ No.1 S.A. will build capacities needed to provide depot maintenance/repairs and manufacture certain parts/subassemblies of LTAMDS (Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor).

The new radar will provide the Polish Armed Forces with much better capabilities of detecting advanced air and missile foes of various types. The signing of those multiple letters of intent is an example of excellent cooperation, aiming to engage some PGZ’s companies in the manufacturing of parts for LTAMDS for the purposes of the Polish Armed Forces.

Apart from WZŁ Nr 1 S.A., the following companies from PGZ-Wisła Consortium will be involved in the cooperation with Raytheon Technologies regarding LTAMDS: Centrum Techniki Morskiej S.A. Research and Development Center, PIT-RADWAR S.A., Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne S.A. and Wojskowe Zakłady Uzbrojenia S.A.
