Progress in MCC1 Project

On 14 February 2023, another status meeting related to the progress achieved in MCC1 Project was held with the Contracting Party on the premises of WZŁ No. 1. This time, in addition to the reporting on the progress, WZŁ No.1 presented some key components of MCC1 , i.e. the antenna mast base frame, including its hydraulic leveling system, the mast top, radio communications and TALIN 3000 inertial navigation system. WZŁ No.1 took that opportunity to present to the visitors their new production tools: a laser welding machine, a bonding machine and a spectrum analyzer.

As a reminder, on 30 Nov. 2021 WZŁ No. 1 executed a contract with the Polish Ministry of Defense’s Inspectorate of Armaments for supply of Mobile Communications Centers, MCC1. The contract was concluded as part of the first phase of  Poland’s Patriot WISŁA Air and Missile Defense Program. According to the contract, WZŁ No. 1 shall deliver four such centers to the Polish Armed Forces. The Mobile Communications Center for WISŁA is a modern digital communications center, planned to provide communications for WISŁA batteries and the Passive Location System (SPL) on the tactical level.
