Prestigious Defender Award for WISŁA Mobile Communications Center, MCC1

WZŁ No. 1 S.A with the prestigious Defender for MCC1 at MSPO 2023.

Traditionally, at the end of the show, MSPO’s Board and the Competition Committee award  prizes to exhibitors and their products. At this year's MSPO, the prestigious Defender award went to the Mobile Communications Center for WISŁA Phase 1.

The idea behind the competition is to award products that stand out for their technical and engineering originality and innovation. The MCC1, as a state-of-the-art digital communication center, fit the competition idea very well. The Mobile Communications Center, created for WISŁA, will enable communications between fixed and mobile systems of the Polish Armed Forces and NATO up to and including SECRET level. It will also serve as an interface between IBCS and national command systems. This year 112 products were submitted in the competition.

As a reminder, in 2021, WZŁ No. 1 S.A. signed a contract with the then Inspectorate of Armaments concerning supply of Mobile Communication Centers, MCC1. The agreement was concluded as part of implementation of Poland Patriot/WISŁA Program Phase 1. According to the contract, WZŁ-1 S.A. is to deliver 4 Mobile Communications Centers to the Polish Armed Forces by the end of 2024.
