POLSECURE Award for Mobile Forensic Platform

Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 S.A. along with its consortium partners: Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery (leader) and Hagmed Sp. z o.o. have won the POLSECURE 2022 award.

On 27-29/04/2022 the POLSECURE International Trade Show for Police and Public Safety was held in Kielce. At that time, about 100 exhibitors from home and abroad showcased their technologies and solutions developed for public safety and security.

WZL-1 S.A., along with its consortium partners, presented the Mobile Forensic Platform project. The Mobile Forensic Platform is an all-in-one solution designed for forensic experts to perform forensic on-scene examinations. The platform was built based on an expandable 20-foot container. It is equipped with specialized devices that enable performing examinations in the field of DNA profiling, revealing fingerprints, reconstructing events based on traces of firearms use, as well as analyzing surveillance recordings and obtaining cell phone data.

The solutions applied in the Mobile Forensic Platform attracted significant interest from the guests and visitors. The trade show organizers appreciated the approach to mobile expert work as well as the platform’s potential and functionality, awarding the POLSECURE 2022 prize to the product.

The project "Mobile Forensic Platform for rapid identification at the scene of a mass casualty event - terrorist attack or disaster" was developed in the consortium composed of: Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery (Leader), Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 S.A. and company Hagmed Sp. z o.o. Spółka Komandytowa (Limited Partnership). The project is funded by the National Center for Research and Development as part of the “Security and Defense” program.
