MCC1 Is Under Way

The contract concluded on November 30, 2021 for the supply of Mobile Communication Centers - MCC1 for the Wisla Program Phase I, to the Polish Armed Forces, has passed into the next stage of implementation. At the end of December 2022, H.CEGIELSKI-POZNAŃ S.A. manufactured and delivered the fundamental component of the system: the base frame of the antenna mast, thus enabling the assembly of the first MCC1.

The Mobile Communications Center of the "Wisla" system is a modern digital shelter used for connecting "Wisła" units and to secure communications for the tactical level Passive Positioning System (SPL). MCC1 enables cooperation with Polish Armed Forces’ and NATO’s stationary and mobile systems with different security classifications. The shelters will be used as a point of contact between the IBCS command and control system and national command systems.
