9th Innovation and Technological Development Forum at WZŁ-1 S.A.

On 21-22/04/2022 the 9^th Forum of Innovation and Technological Development, organized periodically by Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, was held in Zegrze. The event was co-organized by Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 S.A.

On the first day, issues related to project management, raising funds to finance innovations, cooperation with the Łukasiewicz Research Network and the cooperation potential within PGZ Group were presented.

The second day of the Forum, held on the premises of WZŁ-1 S.A., was opened by Mr. Roman Tętnik, CEO of WZŁ-1 S.A. ‘This is a special opportunity for us to present the potential of our Company and the most modern solutions,’ he emphasized in his speech.  ‘Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 S.A. is an experienced company, which faces an opportunity of dynamic growth. By combining experience and innovative technologies, we create modern projects for the Polish Armed Forces and uniformed services.’

Sebastian Chwałek, CEO of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A., who attended the Forum, indicated the key importance of several aspects of activities carried out by the Polish defense industry. ‘One step toward developing and enhancing collaboration between industry and the military is the Innovation and Technology Development Forum. Our country's security depends on this very cooperation. The presence of the Plenipotentiary of the Minister of National Defense for the Integrated Communications and Information Technology System, Head of the Command and Control Management Board - P6 of the Polish Armed Forces General Staff , Col. Piotr Chodowiec, and Commander of the 9^th Command Support Brigade of the Polish Armed Forces’ General Command, Col. Piotr Waniek, is a proof that the work of the Polish defense industry for the Polish Army is our main goal, he added.

During the meeting, representatives of the American company Raytheon Technologies presented a model of cooperation with PGZ Group companies as part of the WISLA program and offset projects.

The participants of the Forum had an opportunity get acquainted with the industrial and research competence resources of WZŁ-1 and to see the products and facilities of our Laboratory.
